Construction contracting in accordance with the City of Helsinki programme

New construction will continue according to the Implementation Programme on Housing and Related Land Use of the City of Helsinki. The Programme controls the land use and housing production in Helsinki. The Programme’s key goals include increasing a diverse selection of housing with consideration to different population groups and situations, improving housing conditions while committing to the values of sustainable development, balancing the housing market and developing funding options. New residential areas are built to be appealing and distinctive in an economically, ecologically and socially sustainable manner.

The Programme describes HASO as a growing and strengthening company. For tenants, growth means financial stability and flexibility in cases where they want to change apartments, for example.

More information on upcoming locations of HASO is available on the Housing Production of the City of Helsinki website.
